Keith and Matsuka, according to fm-anime.
Yes, this deserves an entire journal entry because I'm about to bitch about fm-anime and how nobody in their right mind should ever use them. Also, I can't sleep.
Okay, so a lot of good things take time, I understand that, but fm-anime is far too slow for what they charge and the product you end up with. Now, these costumes were only commissioned in July, so two months of waiting isn't that bad. Unfortunately, there seems to be a bit of a hold up, what's the hold up? Oh, they were in the process of making the costumes with shorts.
Shorts. Both of these characters are obviously wearing pants. And it's not just this, every single time I've used them, there's been something terribly wrong with the costume. And forget contacting them if there is a problem with the costume after you get it, they never reply after they send out the product. The first costume I ever ordered from them was my Gumi cosplay, the neck piece was huge and the over-skirt was made to fit far too high up on the waist. Then came my Alois cosplay, which I did love, but the shirt they sent was made for someone that was about 5" inches shorter than me (I had to buy the one I ended up for the costume separately) and the coat back was too small so I could never really move without the sleeves riding up too much. And finally, the infamous mysterious meat boots. Not only did the shoes practically fall apart after wearing them to one convention, I call them the meat boots because they had a scent of old tires and some sort of smoked meat. It was pretty gross, not to mention confusing.
Of course, all of these items costs $130+ each (except for the boots, those were $60) plus they're ridiculous shipping costs. The only reason this most recent order isn't $300+ is because they're being shipped to Japan instead of here, so the shipping is thankfully low.
I really hate bad mouthing companies, but I've given them a lot of chances and I've never had a good dealing with them.
Okay, I have interviews tomorrow and need to sleep (they're not until the afternoon, but I should still get my beauty rest ;3) Wish me luck on the interviews and hope that my costume is at least mostly free of flaws. Pretty please~ C:
